What modalities do you offer?

Currently I'm offering swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial, trigger point, and prenatal massage.

Do you have any specialties?

Although my clients are happy to report significant relief with all services that I offer, I believe I am able to make the most effective positive changes through myofascial and deep tissue approaches.

I'm afraid of deep tissue. Will it hurt?

I'm glad you asked!

First and foremost, your massage is YOUR massage. YOU dictate your session. If you don't like something about your session, we can adjust our approach.

That said, my deep tissue approach isn't about "crushing" force but rather focused towards muscle engagement. During your deep tissue session, it is common for there to be a level of discomfort but it shouldn't register as a "sharp" or "bad" type of pain. I regularly check in with my clients throughout deep tissue sessions to ensure maximum possible comfort.

Following the session, its completely normal to be sore for a few days. It is important to stay hydrated as well as taking baking soda and epsom salt baths to aid in the healing process

Myo..what? Trigger..who?

Allow a doctor to explain.

Myofascial and trigger point techniques can often help relieve pain and restrictions where other manual therapies seem to run into a therapeutic wall.

I particularly enjoy myofascial work. Not only does it provide extremely effective results, it allows me to really get tuned in and connected with my clients.

Trigger point work is another excellent technique that has been proven to be extremely helpful, particularly those who suffer from frequent headaches.

Elements of these modalities can usually be worked in to your massage session.
